Our day trip to Ghent didn't start off in the best way. It was cold and rainy, and we walked into the city while they were still recovering and cleaning up after a week long festival. We thought Brussels was dirty, but I've never seen anything like this! Thankfully, as the morning went on the city slowly became cleaner and the rain let up. I think if our timing had been better, we would have had a completely different experience!
Crepes and frites were delish!
