Back to School

 Back to school again! This year Addi is in 5th grade, with Mrs. Yates.

 She wants to be an actress, volleyball coach or a 5th grade teacher when she grows up.

 Liv will be in 3rd grade with Mr. Walton.

She wants to be a nurse, teacher or swim teacher when she grows up.

 Hoping for another great year!

Tour of the NEW Alturas International Academy

 

 

 

The girls will be attending Alturas International Academy again this year..but at a new, bigger and better location! The school has moved to a much larger school, that has been completely remodeled to house grades K-8th. The school used to be a Junior High (the one grandpa Blake attended back in the dark ages) ;), and has been office buildings for the last decade or so. It will be so nice to have separate classrooms, a gym, a playground and windows!! Looking forward to a great year!

Happy Anniversary & Birthday to Me!

 I was spoiled rotten for our anniversary AND my birthday this year! Dave sent me these beautiful flowers for our anniversary...

and delivered balloons and a gift to me for my birthday! I complain a lot about doing everything for everyone else and not feeling appreciated. I think it's finally starting to sink in ;) I felt very appreciated and loved it!!

The Great American Eclipse

 The Great American Eclipse was August 21, 2017. Idaho Falls happened to be in the path of totality- almost 2 full minutes of darkness! This was a HUGE deal! Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world, including NASA, came to Idaho to view the eclipse. It wasn't as insane as all of the news channels had it hyped-up to be, but there was definitely an increase in traffic the few days before, day of, and days afterward. We were lucky enough to enjoy it from our own driveway :)

 

 We were also lucky to have visitors! The Wheeler's drove over from Twin Falls, stayed with us the night before, and watched the eclipse with us. Always more fun with friends, especially if those friends are the Wheeler's!

 

 My cousin, Elise, brought us an eclipse viewing kit, complete with Moon Pies and sparklers!

Clark Family Reunion

 Grandpa & Grandma Jones were nice enough to let us host the Clark Family Reunion at the ranch this year. We had a great time catching up with everyone!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 After the Clark reunion was over, we decided to stay an extra day. Grandma put the kids to work picking two HUGE buckets full of service berries.
