This was one New Year's Eve we will never forget! Brittney decided it would be fun to take the Ranger with the snowtrack on it, and drive up to the ranch. The kids had a blast sledding behind the Ranger and playing in the snow. Indie peed in her snowpants, and didn't have any other pants to wear home. We warmed up in the ranch house in front of the fire and then headed home. By that time, temperatures had dropped close to zero degrees, but we were in the heated Ranger, so no worries, right? WRONG! The track on the Ranger broke about half a mile from the parking lot. Luckily grandpa Blake was still in the parking lot with his snowmobile, and luckily we still had cell service! He gave Brittney, Oakley and Indie (still without any pants on!) a ride to the truck while the rest of us walked out. We couldn't feel our faces by the time we got back to the warm truck! Poor Garrett had to stay with the ranger and wait for Jack to bring a replacement track up, and then they had to replace the track with their frozen fingers. Not sure we'll do that again! But like I said, we won't forget it anytime soon! What a way to end 2018!
